I called at 9 am from my office in Houston with a plumbing issue at a home in College station. Rob made the hour and a half drive and had the problem solved by 10:30. No BS—straight shooter who knows what he’s doing. Give him a call. You won’t be sorry.

I had scheduled three electricians to come and figure out why three of my lights in the attic, all connected to the same switch, were not working. Rob was very down to earth and came in and found the problem and fixed it within one hour. His fee was much less than the other two electricians I had out for a quote.

We were away from home for an extended period of time. I use an app to remotely check the temperature in the house to be sure everything is ok. I hadn’t checked it for several days and when I did, the temperatures were way above where the air conditioning was set. Obviously, there was something wrong. I called Problem Solved Home Services to see if they could determine what was wrong. I wasn’t home and wouldn’t be for a couple weeks, so this had to be done remotely on my part. Problem Solved showed up the same day to check out the system. They discovered the failure in the system and gave me options to replace all the required parts. They also provided two estimates for replacing the entire system; one a low-cost option and a second higher cost option but with greater efficiency. Given that the system was quite old, I wasn’t willing to invest more money in it. I opted for the more efficient system that would also control temperature and humidity more effectively, as well as cost less to run. Once I made the decision, Problem Solved was able to get the equipment and install the new system the next day. They got the system up and running and quickly cooled down the house to the target temperature and humidity. Getting the system in fast was important to me because the humidity inside the house was higher than it should be. I was concerned about possible mold growth in a hot and humid environment. But with Problem Solved’s quick response on installing and getting the system up and running, everything worked out great. I highly recommend Problem Solved Home Services and will use them for all future HVAC needs.

Great experience! I had a gas smell in my house after we replaced the electronics on our water heater. Everything seemed seated but there was a strong gas odor. Rob helped check for leaks and got it seated correctly. It was late on a Friday afternoon and he was able to fit us in quickly. And the price was not exorbitant. We really appreciate it! Thank you!

Rob answered the phone and scheduled a 7 am visit for the following day. He arrived on time and took care of the problem. He was very professional and honest. Rob is a true professional—and an all-around great guy. I called him today about a slow-draining issue, and he quickly diagnosed the likely causes over the phone. We scheduled a time, and he showed up exactly when he said he would—which, as you can imagine, is rare in this line of work. Rob was incredibly communicative throughout the process. Ultimately, he didn’t perform any work because he couldn’t replicate the issue, and—here’s the kicker—he was completely upfront about not wanting to charge me for something that might not actually need fixing yet. Rob was very professional. He listened to us and identified the issue with our plumbing clog. We received an estimate from one of the big companies in town. They were expecting a 2–3-hour job over $1000 to fix the issue. He is an exceptional plumber and professional. Rob was able to fix the issue in fifteen minutes and much less. Called at 8:00 am. Sent contact information. Text back for 9:30 appointment. Arrived at 9:20 am. Had a slow flow from kitchen faucet. I cleaned faucet screen and faucet hot/cold valve. He checked to be sure then tried shut-off valves. Flow was good. He then checked faucet hose and cleaned it. It had a lot of crud in it. Working great now. Very knowledgeable and great personality. He finished in less than 15 minutes. Honest and reasonable price for service. Highly recommend. He offers other services and will use him for future projects.

Rob came out to service our house; he was actually here within the hour. I had multiple outlets not working and he came and checked everything thoroughly and was able to have everything back in use quickly. On the way out I asked if he worked on generators and he took a look at it and also got it running—at no cost! Truly a gentleman and a kind soul. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Oh my goodness! After contacting several plumbing companies, we could not get a plumber out to help us with our shower plumbing problem — probably because it was such a small project. When we finally got Rob’s contact information from Google, he responded immediately and walked us through, troubleshooting the problem to see if it was a simple fix or if he needed to delve deeper into the problem. We were able to take care of it, thus saving time and more importantly $$. This morning our “old” water heater dropped dead, so we reached out to Rob and he was at our home within the hour — diagnosed the problem and by 1:30 PM we have a new water heater installed and ready to go. He drained and removed the old water heater and all the rubbish that went with it. He left the area probably cleaner than how he found it. I cannot say enough about this gentleman! He is honest and hardworking, his pricing is fair, his demeanor is very respectful, he listens and actually hears what you’re relating to him. He is patient and easy going. He explains everything in easy-to-understand terms. This business is a winner! He also does electrical and air conditioning, so his card is on our refrigerator. Could not ask for better service than this! On another note: he could have come out for the shower repair, charged us an exorbitant fee for his time and the fix, yet he chose to ask questions about our issue and trouble shoot, providing information, asking questions and resolving the problem. It saved our money, it saved our time, he spent his time, made no money—this is honesty. This is also why we will continue to use his services as well as refer him to anyone needing work done.

I had a drain back up and start filling with water in a bathroom sink, and nothing I did was helping. I sent a request in at 8:30pm on a Thursday and Rob responded right away. He offered to come out that evening but said it would probably be better for me to wait. Talked me through all the items I could do to mitigate the issue in the meantime and was very patient with me. He arrived perfectly on time the next morning (I’m in the Copperfield area) and evaluated my issue. He laid out several possible resolutions but recommended I use the drain cleaner for now to save me money and give me the best possible outcome. He didn’t charge me a dime for the trip and was so friendly. Highly recommend for all of your home needs, as it’s so valuable to have someone you trust. He’s been in the industry over 20 years but just started his business this year—he’s fantastic!

We have had problems with our air conditioning system for years. And every time we got it worked on, the contractor would tell us that our system was screwed up, there was not enough room on the attic for the systems, etc. It was always a nightmare. We have had 3 other new systems installed over the years and it always took days and continued increases in price as the work proceeded. Problem Solved Home Services gave us a price, did the work in less than a day, cleaned up completely before they left, and asked for not a penny more! How great is that. I’m enjoying great cool air with no continuing problems. I’m more than pleased. I would recommend this company without hesitation or reservation!
